Quinte Children’s Treatment Centre (QCTC) offers programs and services for children, youth, and caregivers, including:
Early Intervention and Community-Based Rehab Services (CBRS) provide support for development to help children and youth take part in daily life at home, and in the community.
Services include:
We focus on early support to children and youth, understanding their needs, and creating a plan together that supports their continued development.
We also help during big changes, like starting school. Services may take place at QCTC, community spaces, or even online—we aim to make it easy for you to access the support your child needs.
School-Based Rehab Services (SBRS) provide support for students from the time they start school until they finish high school. Services are for children and youth who go to publicly funded schools in Ontario.
Services include:
SBRS services are provided during the school day to help students learn, grow, and take part in school life. Our team works closely with students, families, educators, and community partners to make sure every child gets the help they need to be successful at school and in their learning.
Caregiver and Coordination Services are here to support children, youth, and their caregivers as they navigate their needs. We focus on a child or youth’s goals and connect families to the right services. Our team also collaborates with schools and community programs, so children and youth get the support they need in an easy and helpful way.
Services include:
Medical and Diagnostic Services offer important medical consultation and diagnostic services for children and youth. Our therapists work collaboratively with physicians and other specialists, to understand a child or youth’s needs and support their growth.
Services include:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Diagnostic Hub
- Orthopedic Consultation Clinic
- Pediatric Consultation Clinic
- Psychometry
Accessing theses services may include regular clinic visits, assessment, and consultation support for therapy planning.
QCTC offers other specialized services to support children and youth development as related to communication and mobility challenges. We work in partnership with external community partners to support needs for each child and youth.

- Augmentative Communication
- Seating and Mobility Clinic
We provide individualized assessment and consultation to help children access the tools and equipment they need to participate fully at home, in school, and in the community.
