Celebrating Collaboration—Quinte Health’s Launch of a New Health Information System

Quinte Health has reached an exciting milestone with the implementation of our new regional Health Information System, a transformative step toward enhancing the way we deliver care across our four hospitals. While this journey has been both challenging and rewarding, it would not have been possible without the dedication, resilience, and teamwork of our incredible staff and physicians.

The transition to a new system of this scale requires effort and adaptability from every corner of the organization. We extend our deepest gratitude to all staff and physicians who have worked diligently to learn and integrate the new system into their daily routines. Your commitment to maintaining excellent patient care during this time has been extraordinary.

A special acknowledgment goes to the Professional Practice, Information Services (I.S.), and Integrated Quality teams, for the months—years even—of intensive work they put in to plan for the best implementation possible.

Thank you to our Lumeo Super Users, CIAs, Support Centre and Command Centre teams who worked tirelessly throughout the launch to provide essential guidance and troubleshooting, and to our dedicated leaders who worked long hours to support their teams throughout the launch.

This implementation marks the beginning of a new chapter for Quinte Health, and we are excited about the opportunities this system presents. As we continue to work with physician groups, staff and the Lumeo regional team to improve and optimize the system, we remain grateful for the collaborative spirit and determination that has brought us to this point.
