Peaceful, Friendly Medical Day Clinic

“In January 2014, my phlebotomies were moved from Trenton Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department to the Medical Day Clinic. This came as a relief because, at times, I felt guilty utilizing Emergency Department staff time for something that was non-urgent.

Since January 1999, I have had 100 phlebotomies (63 at TMH Emergency Department, 13 at Kingston General Hospital, and 24 at TMH Medical Day Clinic).

I have met a lot of very nice health care workers and other patients throughout those 26 years, but the Medical Day Clinic for 12 of those years stands out for me, so I would like to say congratulations and thank you to the staff for your professionalism and for creating a peaceful and friendly environment.”
