Quinte Health is pleased to announce that the Code Grey situation, which has impacted our systems for the past two days, has now been resolved.

We are now in the process of rescheduling appointments that were affected by the outage. Our booking team is working diligently to contact patients and reschedule all diagnostic imaging (DI) appointments that were cancelled over the past two days. If you were impacted by a cancelled appointment, please expect to hear from our booking team shortly.

Only one surgery was cancelled due to the system failure, and that procedure has been rebooked.

“I am incredibly proud of the teamwork and resilience shown by everyone at Quinte Health,” said Stacey Daub, President and CEO.  “Each team member, from IT to our clinical and non-clinical staff, stepped up in ways that truly reflect our commitment to patient care. Their adaptability, dedication, and problem-solving have been nothing short of inspiring. This is the heart of who we are as an organization—stronger together, supporting one another and continuing to deliver care to our community.”

We also would like to extend our sincere thanks to all our partners, including Lennox & Addington County General Hospital, Kingston Health Sciences Centre, and Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Services for their support.

We appreciate our community’s continued patience and understanding as we resume full operations.
