Stroke Care at Quinte Health

Having a stroke is a sudden and traumatic event. It is also the start of a life-long journey to recovery.

You may be worried about the next steps in your recovery and, as part of your team, we will work together with you and your family to provide the support you need.

We are proud to have received a Stroke Distinction Award from Accreditation Canada for our excellence in stroke care. Our compassionate, interdisciplinary team of care providers is involved in stroke prevention, initial diagnosis and acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, patient and family education, outpatient rehabilitation, and connecting patients and families to valuable community resources.

To reach the Integrated Stroke and Rehabilitation Unit (Sills 3 Inpatient Unit), please call (613) 969-7400, ext. 2300.
