How To Pay A Bill

You may be charged for products or services that are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). If there are costs for your visit, Quinte Health will keep track of the charges and invoice you for all uninsured hospital services monthly or when you are discharged.

Methods of payment:

1. Online/in person through your financial institution (BMO, Scotiabank, CIBC, and RBC) – click bank links for instructions. Most financial institutions will accept your payment at the bank or through online banking by adding the payee Quinte Health. Please use the account number from the front of your bill. To enter your account number online, enter the letters and numbers only. If the account number on your invoice is “HE123456/23”, then type “HE12345623”.
2. Email money transfer. Requiring the complete account number and patient name from the front of your bill. Please send the amount owing on the front (bottom right corner) to etransfer@quintehealth.ca.
3. Credit card payment over the phone. Please contact the clerk according to the patient’s last name as listed at the bottom of this page.
4. Cheque or credit card number in the mail with remittance stub (top portion of bill). Make cheques payable to Quinte Health. If cheque is returned, there will be an NSF fee of $20.00.

5. In person – cash, cheque, debit and credit cards are accepted in person at the Patient Registration office at any of the four Quinte Health hospitals (please bring your bill with you).

For billing inquiries or to make a credit card payment over the phone, please contact the clerk associated with the patient’s last name. Our office hours are Monday to Friday. If you are awaiting a return call, we appreciate your patience, and we will address your concern as promptly as possible.
