10th Anniversary of the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Build

Ten years ago today, project partners publicly announced our intention to build a new Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital (PECMH). 

Quinte Health is filled with gratitude. We are grateful for our project partners—PECMH Foundation, PECMH Auxiliary, Prince Edward Family Health Team and the Prince Edward County municipality. We are grateful to every donor across the community who has Backed the Build. We are grateful to Bay of Quinte MPP Todd Smith for his unwavering support, in addition to the support and guidance of our Ministry and Infrastructure Ontario partners. 

Successfully bringing a project of this significance to fruition takes strong partners, determined advocates, and the community’s unwavering support. Together, we are forging toward ‘shovels in the ground’ with passion, purpose, and gratitude, knowing that every brick laid and every foundation poured is a testament to the community’s commitment to local health care today and for generations to come.
