A grateful family recently shared their gratitude to the Belleville General Hospital Quinte 4 team for the care and compassion they showed to their mother/wife before her passing.

“The whole staff on Quinte 4 has been absolutely amazing taking care of my mom during her stay and passing. They were all so kind and deserve big recognition. If it weren’t for them, I don’t think I would have made it through this terrible situation.” – Nikki Brunton

“To palliative care nurse Sherry Weese and all nursing staff on Quinte 4 – my family and I would like to thank each and every one of you for the care of our mother Tammy-Marie Brunton. You treated her with compassion and dignity before her passing and after. We are forever grateful.” – Lindsay Brunton

“The palliative care nurses who looked after my wife, Tammy, were very professional, understanding and comforting. They treated Tammy with the utmost respect and dignity, through this (several-week-long) challenging time.

Whether I went to visit that day, or not, I always phoned for an update around midnight, and they were always great about finding her nurse and giving me any updates…with no complaints. Huge gratitude and respect from her husband.” – Kelly Boyd
