“I was at BGH for a Myocardial Perfusion test. I arrived at about 8:30 a.m. for my appointment. There were not many patients or staff at the doors when I arrived. I was not exactly sure how to get to Nuclear Medicine but was helped along by at least three staff who, without my asking, directed me to the department. I noticed other staff directing patients as well. Please note that staff taking the time to direct patients is greatly appreciated...

Please note that staff taking the time to direct patients is greatly appreciated.

Once at Nuclear Medicine, I was registered quickly by the receptionist and called by the technologist promptly. Josephine explained the lengthy procedure in detail, stopping frequently to ask if I had any questions. Adam was the technologist who administered most sections of the test. He was also very clear with his instructions and asked frequently if everything was okay. The medical specialist on duty also explained the treadmill test very thoroughly. There were other staff I came into contact with, but I didn’t get their names.

All the technologists worked together as a team to ensure the test went efficiently. I was overwhelmed with how professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and patient-focused all the staff are in Nuclear Medicine. The staff are to be commended for their outstanding skills and caring approach. The staff all seem very happy in their jobs which translates into positive patient care. I would like to thank everyone for a positive experience at BGH.” – a grateful patient
