Quinte Health welcomes the 2024/25 Board of Directors
Quinte Health is thrilled to announce the 2024/25 Board of Directors, including four new members who bring tremendous experience and expertise to the highly skills-based Board – Pam Jolliffe, Catherine Gosselin-Després, Reta Coburn, and Steve Geist.
Quinte Health is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors responsible for monitoring quality and effectiveness, establishing strategic direction and ensuring financial and organizational viability. The Board’s role includes setting the plan for our family of four hospitals and community services, monitoring Quinte Health’s ongoing financial health, performance and patient care, and ensuring an effective two-way flow of communication with the public Quinte Health serves.
Lisa O’Toole was elected for a second year in the role of Board Chair and Gary Hannaford was re-elected as Vice Chair and Treasurer. O’Toole welcomed the new members and thanked the current directors for their continued service on the Quinte Health Board of Directors.
“As stewards of our community’s health, the hospital board is passionate about ensuring that every decision we make enhances the quality and accessibility of local health services, reflecting our deep commitment to the well-being of our communities,” O’Toole expressed. “It’s my privilege to continue serving as Chair for another year alongside such remarkably qualified and dynamic individuals on the Board.”
The Board expressed thanks to outgoing Director Tamara Kleinschmidt for her dedicated service to Quinte Health.
