Our Recruitment Process 

Not applicable to physicians. All physician inquiries contact mfarrell@qhc.on.ca

Apply Online 

  1. Visit our Recruitment Portal to create an online profile (use an email address you have access to 24/7 to avoid missing out on interview invitations).  Upload your Resume and Cover Letter (not required for internal employees applying to external postings). 
  1. View our current  Job Opportunities and click on the  Job Number to view the posting. 
  1. Click on  Apply for this job at the bottom of the posting. 
  1. Answer the pre-screening questions. 
  1. Select your Resume and Cover Letter then upload the files. 
  1. You will receive a confirmation acknowledging your application on the screen and by email.  

Future Opportunities 

  • Sign up for Career Alerts on the Recruitment Portal so we can tell you about career opportunities that match your interest.  Alerts expire after 90-days and can be unsubscribed from at any time. 

Watch for fake job postings: 

We occasionally share job postings on our social media channels; however, all hiring is conducted through our official recruitment website. If a job listing is not posted there, it may be a scam. Please note that we do not conduct interviews via text message. If you have any doubts about the legitimacy of a job posting, please contact us via email for verification humanresources@qhc.on.ca or call 1 613-969-7400 ext. 2577.

Here are some tips to help you distinguish between a legitimate job and a potential scam:

  • Check if the job is posted on our Career Website
  • We would never ask you to send money to apply for a job
  • We would never send you a cheque to buy your own equipment or other items required for your  job
