Team Quinte Health: We All Make a Difference

The OR Bookings team at Belleville General Hospital is a tight-knit group of women who care deeply about each other and about providing exceptional service. They ensure operating rooms are efficiently booked and that specialized equipment is ordered so surgeons have what they need to perform quality procedures without delay.

Quinte Health President and CEO Stacey Daub recently spent time with booking clerks Tara Hughes, Star Maughan and Erin Parks, and was particularly impressed by the team’s communication, attention to detail, sense of community, and family values. “This team serves as the backbone of our surgical operations,” said Stacey. “Their contributions resonate throughout our organization, touching the lives of patients, surgeons, and caregivers. Though their work often goes unnoticed by many, their significance cannot be overstated. And they are also such a lovely team! They recognize that they each bring their whole self to work—whether they’ve had a bad sleep, or their child is unwell, they are there for each other, no matter what is needed.”
